People from all walks of life have worked tirelessly to successfully hold back Adani’s mine for 7 years now. We’ve petitioned, written letters and met with MPs. We’ve demanded action to tackle climate change, protect our water and the Reef.
To date, politicians have failed us.
Throughout history dangerous projects like Adani’s mine have been stopped in their tracks by everyday people who care about our future taking a bold stance.
Stepping up our frontline resistance to #BlockadeAdani is an important turning point in our campaign, and part of a proud history of peaceful protest that has protected jewels like The Franklin, the Daintree, Jabiluka & the Kimberley.
Recently, the Queensland government has been trying to stop us standing up for our future, with new laws designed to deter peaceful protest.
Now is the time to make it clear that we are not shying away from taking the bold, peaceful action that is needed to halt climate change and #StopAdani.
Stopping this mine is one of the best steps we can take to play our part in the global effort to tackling dangerous climate change.
Our government has no plan to shift to clean energy. Together we will stand up and fight for an end to fossil fuels and a fair transition to protect our water, country and climate.
Please join us!
